Managing Food Orders
After an order is accepted, staff can manage it by starting preparation, completing it when ready, or cancelling it if it cannot be processed.
Pre-requisite

The order must be accepted (manually or automatically) before it can be managed.
1. Starting an Order
Orders can be started in two ways depending on how the location is configured:
1.1 Auto Start

During the initial OMS setup, staff can enable Auto Start in the configuration pop-up

If enabled, all orders in the live tab will be automatically started once accepted

Then the Start button will not be shown in the order card since the order is already started, showing only the Mark Done button
1.2 Manual Start

If Auto Start is not enabled, staff must start orders manually

Once accepted, the Start button will appear on the order card

Click on the start button to start the order

Upon clicking the button then changes to Mark Done
2. Completing an Order

When preparation is done, tap Mark Done on the order card
- Upon clicking The order moves to the Done Orders tab
3. Cancelling an Order
Orders can be cancelled at any stage, whether Accepted, Started, or even after being marked Done.
Steps to Cancel an Order

Tap the 3-dot menu (Quick Actions) on the order card

Select Cancel Order

Choose a cancellation reason from the dropdown

Confirm cancellation
- Upon confirmation the order moves to the Cancelled Orders tab
Note💡: If your order completion or cancellation is unsuccessful please check your connection and retry by clicking on the Mark Done button.
