What is a Routing Label?
A routing label is the label that connects a menu, category, or single item (Recipe in GrubCENTER) with a station within a kitchen or restaurant. The routing label will help direct an order that has been placed by a customer to the station of your preference.
In GrubTech, you can choose between 3 levels of routing:
- Menu Routing (Mandatory): The full menu is directed to a station. For example: the full menu of “Brand X” to the “Brand X Station”
- Category Routing (Optional): A category from a menu is being routed to a station. For example: Grilled food to the “Grill Station”
- Recipe Routing (Optional): A recipe from a menu is being routed to a station. For example: Caesars Salad to the “Cold Station”
