What is a Station?
A Station is a designated area in your kitchen where your food orders are prepared. The layout of your station depends on your kitchen or restaurant layout. According to your kitchen or restaurant layout you can have as many stations as you require.
Stations can be segregated on two levels: Brand Level and Menu Item Level.
- Brand Level Stations have multiple brands operating under the same station or multiple stations.
- Menu Item Level Stations can operate in a case where you have some brands that have common menu items and they can be prepared in the same station, so if there is a case as such, the common menu items for your brands can be routed to that specific station by adding a routing label.
Please Note: The Station could be a KDS or KDS Master and the Location means a physical location.
