Create a new count.

Restaurants carry out a cycle count to confirm whether the inventory records match their physical inventory counts. 

To conduct a cycle count in the Inventory module, kindly follow the steps below:

  • Under the Inventory tab, select Cycle Count in the side bar menu. 
  • You will then be directed to the Cycle Count dashboard.
  • Click on the +New Count button on the top right of the dashboard.



  • Select the Item you wish to update the cycle count for. You can select multiple items.
  • Update the counted quantity
  • The system will then automatically show you the variance between the current quantity and the counted quantity.


  • Select the time the count was carried
    - Day Start
    - Day End.
  • Click Submit Count and Generate PDF. A PDF will be created automatically. 


  • If the count is not completed and you wish to complete it later on, click Save Draft.

You have successfully carried out a cycle count.
