Order Cards in grubOne
Order Cards are the main way to view and manage incoming orders in grubOne. Each card displays all the important details and actions needed to prepare, complete, or cancel an order.
The way Order Cards are displayed depends on the selected layout (Tile View or Split View). To learn more about choosing a layout, see 👉 Layouts on grubOne
Key Features
Every Order Card contains these details staff need to manage orders effectively:

Order Source Logo – Shows where the order came from (e.g., aggregator, restaurant).

Order ID & Brand Name – Always visible for quick identification.

Order Type – Takeaway, Delivery, or Dine-in.

ETA – Estimated delivery/pickup time
- Timer – A visual countdown showing the time left until the order’s promised handover.

Green – Sufficient time remaining

Orange – Approaching promised time

Red – Order is due or overdue

- Item List & Modifiers – Items in the order with notes and customizations.
- Order Notes – Any additional instructions.

Action Buttons – Start, Mark Done, Cancel, and more (via the 3-dot menu).
Order Card States
Order Cards update automatically as the order progresses:

Pending Acceptance

Card appears greyed out until accepted.

Shows “Pending Acceptance” at the bottom.

Active Order (Live Tab)

Card is active and fully visible.

“Start” button available (or auto-start if enabled).

Completed Order (Done Tab)

Card is greyed out with a “Done” label and completion time.

Still allows access to actions via the 3-dot menu.

Cancelled Order (Cancelled Tab)

Card is greyed out with cancellation details and received time.

Cancel button no longer available, but other options (e.g., print) remain.

💡Note:

In Tile View ➡️each Order Card shows all details directly in the grid.

In Split View ➡️the left panel shows a summarized list of orders, and the right panel shows the full details when an order is selected.
The core information and actions remain the same, only the way they are displayed changes.
